This is my Trek Slash 8 2019, I bought this bike brand new (January 1st, 2019) and have since upgraded it to my liking many things have been done to this bike and will be listed below:

RockShox Yari 160mm Has been upgraded to 170mm of travel

The shock has been replaced with a Fox Float X2 2020 with climb switch this shock has been great 10/10 would recommend if set up properly this shock soaks up small bumps super well and absolutely tanks the big heavy hits this shock is great.

I have upgraded the brakes to hope Tech 3 V4 Purple quad piston these brakes are, well, amazing they stop when you want to be stopped and very adjustable they can be hard and instant stop or you can make them soft and adjust the bite, etc great overall brakes and look amazing

Next, I've upgraded to the hope floating rotors not only do they look great they handle the heat exceptionally well.

Next, I upgraded the rim to a hope rim as my last rim got a dent in it from a rock garden it has a dent in it but works well but cant go tubeless hence I swapped rim can be swapped for free as the hope rim has seen better days

also, I have swapped the hubs out for a hope freehub 4 you will see for yourself why I swapped it out makes the best sound

Changed saddle to nukeproof sam hill edition

bars have been swapped out for carbon Bontrager bars

Problems: Needs a new chain Current rear tire cant go tubeless as it got a sidewall puncture first day of having it (will come with the old purple muc off valve if you want to get a new tire) Brakes need to be bleed The rear rim I am listing this as a problem as I'm not sure if it can go tubeless or not I haven't tested it for like 1 month I'm sure it can Have some wear and tear eg scratches no dents what so ever all scratches have been shown I think haha
