2002 Seadoo Bombardier GTI LE - not running

Ski is not running.

It was purchased about 18 months ago. It stopped running after a couple of months and has sat in garage since. Unsure what’s wrong, but it will be a good buy if you know what you're doing.

Mechanic had a look at it but was unsure. Put in a brand spanking starter motor, and plugs, but that didn’t fix it. In the process he reconnected the oil pump but it had been disconnected because of a leak. We mixed oil with the fuel instead, so first thing to do would be disconnect the oil again as it’s leaking.

It has been sitting in the garage. Pushed it out today and still won’t start. Turns over, just won’t fire up.

Trailer WOF exp Feb 2017 and Reg about the same but as far as I'm aware, the trailer is still in excellent condition.

Keen to move it out and make some space. Not sure if it’s easy fix or not. Was a good powerful ski when it was running, easily carried 3 people.

This jet ski has been completely rebuilt after sitting unused. Stable 3 seater with steering assist and reverse/neutral/forward on a good rust free Dunbier trailer. Powered by a 720cc 2 stroke Rotax engine that has been rebored and fitted with new pistons, new crank, carb overhaul, new computer, new impeller. Other new parts include battery, steering cable, starter motor, traction mats etc. Most of the nuts and bolts have been replaced. Only 4.8hrs since rebuild. Capable of 45+mph one up but also docile enough for beginners. Used mainly in Taupo and Rotorua.

I purchased it for $5,500, plus $1,500 spent on it. My loss your gain. $1000 reserve.
