1 pc of aluminium anode to suit a Riviera or others with Volvo IPS 600 drives.
2 are available, fits the locator mounts, on Riviera transoms and others, one pc each drive.
These are bonded directly to the IPS drive. 1 per drive mounted to the side of the main hull anode.
I do have a new aluminium boat hull anode.
The IPS aluminium anode and the hull anode should be matched to maximise corrosion protection.
A Zinc hull anode next to a Aluminium anode produce different voltages.
In a stern drive boat (IPS is a stern drive) when a zinc hull anode and aluminium IPS or stern drive anodes are fitted together odd corrosion outcomes can occur.
