1992 LINCOLN FUNERAL CAR
$5,050
Description
Rare 1992 Lincoln Town Car that has been professionally built for use as a hearse in Japan.
Bought this but somehow forgot to tell my other (better) half !!!. Consequently, due to lack of space "she who must be obeyed" has said that it must go or I'll be in it. Not very nice.
Has all the usual Lincoln features -
- 4.6Litre V8
- auto trans
- power windows
- power seats.
- power mirrors
- leather upholstery
- ABS
- alloy wheels
- climate control
- air bag suspension
- and probably a heap more I've overlooked
Extensive cost and effort has been put in to the construction of the back. Made from solid wood with copper, brass and gold gilt? features. Inside appears to be hand painted and lights automatically come on when the doors are opened.
Possible uses -
- hearse
- promotional or advertising purposes
- camper (for two)
- one of a kind ute or pickup truck
- fundraising for charities
- film or movie prop
- hotrod or ratrod
- delivery, catering or selling goods at a market
- zombie paddy wagon
- spare parts
No matter what it's used for, there isn't another one the same in NZ.
I'm happy to answer questions, however before anybody offers "expert" advice or opinions, about what may be required for compliance, please note it is entirely up to the compliance company once the vehicle has been inspected by them and the owners intended use. Any comments deemed to be of a blog nature will be deleted. I have all the correct paperwork for the compliance process to go with the car if the new owner would like to go down that path.
Inspection is recommended and is entirely by appointment only between 8am and 4pm 7 days a week so phone me on 021 307999 . No texts - they will not be answered
Pickup is by appointment from West Harbour between the same times as inspection and to be done within 3 days of sale. Payment is cash on collection.
Please take the time to read my profile. If you have any questions - ask first before bidding. If you have any reservations - don't bid.
