Questions & Answers
Kia ora, any idea on how much it weighs? honour.nona (91 • 6:47 pm, Mon, 17 Nov )Hey mate, id estimate between 300-500kg. Pretty burly despite the overall size. Cheers, Joey ron-son (46 • Monday, 17 November 2025 )I'm assuming you painted it black for sale. Is that correct? Is the PPG paint an exterior paint? Did you brush or roll or spray the paint? Thanks. erlam (656 • 3:34 pm, Tue, 18 Nov )Hi there, not at all! I painted it when I got the trailer to match my ute, the exif data will be in the pics. Started with a spray, the coating is specifically for vehicles however im piss poor with the gun. Ended up using a brush to even it up, hence probably could do with a touch up. Cheers ron-son (46 • Tuesday, 18 November 2025 )OK, thanks. It looks as if the fibreglass box sits on top of a regular trailer - is that correct, or does the interior go down to the floor of the trailer? Is there an internal steel frame for the fibreglass shell, or is all the strength of the fibreglass part in the actual shell itself? Looks like there is an internal partition along the length of the trailer. If so, how possible would it be to remove this to make it all one large space? erlam (656 • 9:54 pm, Tue, 18 Nov )Hi mate, nah its built around the frame, not seated on top. I don't think there's a steal beam in the middle, I did consider removing the internal partition but the ex owner did a job job in fabricating it. Tbh shes a beauty as is, pretty tidy as a run around rig. I'll try get more photos over the weekend. Cheers ron-son (46 • Tuesday, 18 November 2025 )Oh, and how would I go about having a look at this? Do you have an email or a phone number I could contact you on? erlam (656 • 9:54 pm, Tue, 18 Nov )Happy to let you view if you want to inspect it for yourself, no worries. My number is o22 3 seven seven 3714. Cant type it entirely numerically due to trademe playing up. Cheers ron-son (46 • Tuesday, 18 November 2025 )Is there a partion right down the middle or not. Bald_headed_man (338 • 10:44 am, Thu, 20 Nov )Hi, yes the partition extends right down the middle. Both compartments (left and right sides) are equal in width and height. Cheers ron-son (46 • Thursday, 20 November 2025 )What size toe ball mate? spencerc (160 • 6:53 pm, Thu, 20 Nov )Hey mate, pretty sure its the standard New Zealand 1 7/8 inch (approx. 47.6 mm).
