9 Horse Nissan Condor

1986 Nissan Condor CK31. Takes 9 horses. Was originally set up for 7 & then altered whilst being used as the Nga Tawa School truck. They sold it to Film Animals Ltd & it was used on Lord of the Rings. We've owned the truck for 7 1/2 years. Reg as a motor home on K licence. Need Class 2 licence to drive it. Has done nearly 420000. Had new hubo fitted in Jan - old one broke. Currently has COF - due early Sept. Reg until Oct 2020. RUC up to date The truck is currently used regularly with our racehorses & showjumpers.

It drives well - no speed demon, but the horses love it & travel well. Does have rust in the cab - has never stopped it getting a COF, but it always needs a tidy up prior. Currently has a seepage from the diesel tank - may be reparable, or might need replacing. Needs 1 air line replaced prior to next COF (new part here but not fitted due to COVID shutdown). Had new clutch about 30K ago. Has exhaust brakes, but they aren't currently working, need adjusting. Has good rubber all round. The bit of trim missing on the top of the cab is here, but not got round to putting back on after the windscreen was replaced earlier this year. A few of the windows in the horse part have glass missing - we had a horse that liked to grab them through the grills! Partition opens up between horses & living - easy to check while traveling. Has 2 water tanks at the back underneath. Sealed rubber floor in 7 spaces. LED strip lighting down centre of roof.

Been a great truck for what we've needed to date, but we don't need as much horse space now. Located at Aokautere near Palmerston North.
