Description
Selling to fund another E28 restoration project. Purchased in July 2015, as a project car. Stock apart from manual conversion and stereo. During my ownership I have completed the following work.
- Clutch fork pivot pin
- Clutch Slave cylinder
- Heavy duty clutch
- Throw out bearing
- Pilot bearing
- Resurfaced single mass flywheel
- Various shifter bushes
- Ignition switch
- Fuel filter and some fuel line
- Transmission mounts
- Transmission output shaft and selector seals
- Redline MTL gearbox fluid
- Valve adjustment
- New spark plugs
- Front sway bar links
- Battery
- Accessory belts (both)
- Rocker cover gasket (to be installed)
- Lower rubber shifter boot
- Oil filter
- Oil change
- Fresh coolant
- Air filter
- Intake elbow
- Tail light gaskets
- Rear sway bar
- 3.64 diff
Interior is in mint condition with no rips or tears. The exterior condition of the car is good, there is slight clear coat peel on the sunroof, and some stone chips and dents as expected with a car of this age. Car is in better condition than expected for a car of this age, a small amount of surface rust around the bonnet and doors (all shown in photo's).
The is a small rattle from the gearbox at idle but this is the throw-out bearing needs more grease.
