What an amazing car to drive! This is one of the last of a generation of high revving naturally aspirated cars that are a dying breed. With DNA carried over from the original EK9 Type R this is a screaming, track focussed machine.

This is all round in good condition

The 2.0L i-Vtec engine in this model produces a whopping 158kw of power at 8000RPM. Incredibly it will continue on to a peak of 8600RPM. The Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) version of the K20A engine has a fully balanced crankshaft assembly, Chromoly flywheel, high strength connecting rods, high-compression pistons, stiffer valve springs, and higher-lift camshafts with more duration.

Such was the special nature of this engine, the engine block would be removed from production assembly line by an experienced Honda engine technician to torque the connecting rod bolts to factory specification (by hand) using a micrometer to measure connecting rod bolt stretch. Then the JDM K20A type-R engine block would be returned to the production assembly line to complete the engine building process Please read the questions and answers for this listing.
