Jaguar XJ6 Series 1 1973

Probably the tidiest Series 1 XJ6 ,4.2 Jaguar you could find. This lovely car is a joy to drive and drives like a new car. It was fully restored some years ago in Christchurch - every part refurbished, new paint, every piece of chrome replated,new hood lining,new tyres, engine,gearbox etc all rebuilt. The speedo seems to have been zeroed then and now reads 6900K. It then spent many years on display in an Auckland collection, before recently being refettled and put back to use. It has only minor faults - right rear electric window not going, heater non functional etc. All easily rectifiable if they mattered to you, but not necessary to enjoy the use of this grand machine. It is a well known vehicle in the local Jaguar club, and is featured heavily on the 2019 Club calendar. Runs beautifully, and I would be happy to drive it to the lucky purchaser, with no reservations as to its reliability. The Series 1 XJ6 is one of the most rapidly appreciating Classic Cars today - especially in England where a car in such structurally sound, rust free, and virtually unmarked condition as this one,is now fetching huge amounts and increasing annually.All the original owners manuals, ownership papers, service manual, documentation of rebuild etc.are included.
