Of course the bounty of the natural beauty of Canada is well realised around the world and so it makes sense that companies would want to capitalise on it. This DVD is part of a series of releases by Readers Digest - others include Across the Great Divide and The Wild Shore - and if you can pick them up cheaply they aren't a bad way to go.
The shows are to the point being only 50 minutes long each and the narration imparts a goodly chunk if information. Some loss of connectivity occurs because there is no presenter, only a voice over narration. However the main issue is the simple fact that the footage seems to be strangely lacking in sharpness. It just doesn't have anywhere near the production values of, say, a BBC Earth show.
