This album is full of well crafted, rather lovely pop songs. Runga has a terrific voice, and you can hear that she's great mates with Neil Finn from Crowded House - there is an air of them to many of the songs (and he pops up on "The Be All And End All"). Not a million miles from Norah Jones, but Runga just seems to have a bit more to her. She's an old fashioned singer songwriter, and I hope we can all find room for some of those in our collections. Bic's soft voice lulls the listener into a sense of calm, whilst also arousing happy vibes which will lift you into a good mood. It's not a Saturday night record, but a Sunday morning one.
