Chickering Grand Piano, rare find. Valued by a reputable New Zealand nationwide piano store at $65,000. Must sell. Traditional black with beautiful African Rosewood inside the rim/case. Imported from America. The Baldwin piano company purchased the "Chickering" name, and put the Chickering name on various Baldwin-built Grand Pianos like this one. The Chickering sound is definitely better than the BaldwinI listened which sold for twice the price, which is why I purchased this piano. This is NOT a baby Grand. The full size soundboard is positioned within the case at a diagonal which allows the case to be smaller than a traditional Grand piano but with the big bold Grand Piano sound. Must play to appreciate! If you want a sneak peak of what the piano sounds like you can check out the link below (it is not my piano but has the same amazing sound).
