You’ll most likely be aware that due to COVID 19, the Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park events were cancelled for the first time in 26 years. This is a significant fundraising event for Youthline and the cancellation left not only a big gap in the Kiwi Christmas calendar, but it also created an even bigger gap in Youthline’s annual income.

Coca-Cola Christmas on the Breeze, a totally live three hour Christmas radio show is aimed at raising much needed funds for Youthline. The show airs live from 7am-10am on Friday 11 December and can be heard on The Breeze, streamed through rova, viewed online and on Breeze TV.

CHARITY AUCTION - Signed Six60 album for Youthline!!

Youthline has a copy of Six60's latest album signed by Eli Paewai, Chris Mac, Ji Fraser, Marlon Gerbes, and Matiu Walters. Featuring hits such as "Please Don't Go" and "The Greatest" to auction off as part of Coca-Cola Christmas on the Breeze.

Of the 135,009 texts we received last year, 2 in 5 were from young people experiencing depression, anxiety, self-harm or suicide, and 1 in 5 related to suicide. Every year we need to find $1 million to keep our Helpline running and have experienced a significant increase in the number of young people and families seeking help due to the impact of Covid-19.

COVID-19 has had a huge impact on the mental health of young New Zealanders. During the lockdown period, texts to our Helpline increased by 50%. We also saw a 90% increase in young people reporting they didn’t feel safe in their own homes.

100% of the funds raised will be going to this service.
