THE WORST OF JEFFERSON AIRPLANE Here’s a snappy little compilation that collects some of Jefferson Airplane’s best tunes from 1966’s ‘It’s No Secret’ to ‘Volunteers’ in ’69 with some electrifying San Fran psych along the way. My favorites are the epic ‘Somebody To Love’and the amazing Bolero-meets-Alice-on-acid….’White Rabbit’.

THE FANTASTIC 5TH DIMENSION The 5th Dimension were the epitome of lush, multi harmony, sunshine sike-pop! “Good News” has that much-sampled funky drum break and my favourite, “California My Way” with a tasty bass boogaloo groove, a needling guitar lick and a dash of happy horns under the great vocals.

THE EVERLASTING LOVE AFFAIR The Love Affair were a terrific group and ‘Everlasting Love’ is one of the great blue-eyed soul songs.
