These are airline approved. They have a metal door without holes big enough for the pet to stick out their nose or paws, door is attached via top and bottom with double opening mechanism. Sufficient ventilation and the two pieces are held together with the metal screws with the presence of holes just in case the airlines want to use cable tie instead.
