This is Card No. 15 featuring the well known Pembroke Welsh Corgi breed. Renowned as the breed favoured by Queen Elizabeth II of England since her childhood the breed is popular throughout the world. The front of the card shows an illustration of two young Corgis and there are some brief breed details on the reverse.
The card is from a set of 66 cards entitled “Popular Pets” and produced by Cereal Foods (NZ) Ltd, Auckland, New Zealand circa 1950.
The card is in very good condition and measures approximately 4.75cms x 7.25cms.
It would make a fine addition to any dog lover’s collection.
