Why should I buy such an expensive lamp when I can get the same length from another seller at less than $70? I can't answer that but I can tell you why this lamp is Cheap AS!

1. if you are keen on keeping plants your fish will always be healthy and active. Why make things hard for yourself? Use living plants to help clean you water from those nasties you can't see but can kill your fish!
2. Budget led lamps dont allow adjustability in terms of hight. The lamp you are looking at can be put at a hight of upto 20cm thereby allowing you to work while the light is on and see what you arrangemet will look like under the light, help your creative juices flow!
3. Budget lamps do not give you accurate colours.This chihiros lamp is very accurate having a high Colour rendering index making you plants and fish look stunning! On a scale from 1 to 100 this lamp is close to 90 but budget options are gimicy and fall way back.
4. This lamp has 35 Watts compared to some budget lamps looking at less than half that wattage. This fixture is itself considered just a medium intensity fixture. Get serious if you want to grow plants
5. The Bluetooth app is fantastic and really simple to use allowing you to slowly fade up the lights to wake your fish gently.
