Grains origin: Caucasus. (I got them from Greece)
Amazing kefir even on a standard milk.

How much kefir does 1 tablespoon make and how long will it last? You would start with a glass or two of milk, leave it in a shade for 12-24 hours, then stir, strain the kefir, and repeat a few times before the grains start to grow and multiply allowing you to increase the amount of milk and/or make the kefir "stronger", more sour. The grains will last and subdivide forever in a renewed milk. If you want to pause them for a while just put the jar into the fridge.
