In 1783, two brothers started a little crystal factory in Waterford, one of Irelands busiest ports. Before long, ships began to sail all over the world, laden with beautiful Waterford crystal. Over the years the Waterford name became synonymous with immaculate quality and exquisite design, and today Waterford are renowned for the most beautiful crystal in the world.

Elysian was the name that the Greeks gave to a concept of heaven and its also the name of Waterfords rather heavenly, luxurious home entertainment range. With one foot in the shadow of Waterfords history, and the other in modern opulence, Jo Sampson of the eponymous British design firm has created one of the most remarkable collections yet.
