Crown Lynn blue on white dessert or cereal bowl (dish) with a coat of arms - "The King's School 1831" with the motto "Fortiter et Fideliter".

The backstamp reads, "New Zealand Crown Lynn 82 (or B2) Supervitrified Ware."

Approximately 16cm diameter.

I think this must have originally been produced for the prestigious school in Remuera, Auckland.

Has been well-used and has a lot of scratches/wear to the glaze. The outside of the bowl has 3 patches where the glaze has not covered properly. These may be the points where the bowl sat whilst the glaze was being applied.
