Fabulous Crown Lynn tear drop cup, saucer & plate trio designed by Californian Designer Dorothy Thorpe for Crown Lynn in the 1960’s. All three pieces are fully stamped to the base and are in excellent condition (note tiny flea bite to base rim of cup probably due to manufacture). Gorgeous two tone colour way and textured “Pine” patterning. An excellent example of mid century design in New Zealand. Plate and saucer both measure 165mm in diameter.
