Early iconic porridge bowl made for the American forces stationed here in New Zealand in World War 11

Vintage pottery from Crown Lynn when it was called Ambrico.
Cast from insulator mold if I remember correctly

Size: 15.5cms across and 7cms high.
Excellent condition. No chips or cracks.
The patch on edge is just an unglazed patch.

These bowls have passed into NZ folklore probably on account of their thickness and chunkiness.
