This auction is for two rare antique LIMOGES items - a vinegar bottle and a lidded canister,

The design is most likely early 20th century. It features purple, red and pink cornflowers. I am told these have the look of GUERIN. do advise if you have any other ideas.

The canister stands 7 cm. The diameter is 9.5 cm. The lids have a twirled double handle and a curled edge, characteristic of Victorian china. This resembles a miniature tureen.

The handle is off the vinegar bottle (I hear it rattling inside). The stopper is intact.

For their vintage, the pair have signs of wear but the pot is in excellent condition and deserves a great new home while the accompanying vinegar bottle is a rarity.
