A quite rare 1944 World War II HEWHALL POTTERY vase as per photo. Has the backstamp of the Pottery, the date (1944) along with G VI R - which means King George the Sixth, who was the British King at thye time of World War Two. It is in good condition for an old retro piece with no chips or cracks. To me, its quite remarkably good for a 71 year old piece. Its clean and does not look all glaze crazed as often pieces from this age do. Still has a good ring when tapped. A bit of wear from time and age etc, but its basically fine. Measures approx. 120mm high, and approx. 105mm wide at the rim. Great for a collector of such things or as a neat retro display item. We allow pickups, but if you do not want to pick up then we can pack and send on your behalf at your risk. (couriers & PO will often not cover retro collectable items) Please NOTE the different postage options and choose the right one for your situation. Thanks. 815 refN55032
