Description
mid 19th century genuine Majolica cup, saucer and plate.
Cup: fine china measures 70mm to top of handle and 63mm to lip. Rim has some gold trim wear and firing defect to foot is over glazed. Chip, crack and craze free.
Saucer: measures 153mm across and has some gold trim wear chip, crack and craze free.
Plate: has a saucer well and measures 178mm with gold trim wear is chip, crack and craze free.
The underside base rims have over glazed firing chips only on plate and as with a lot of Majolica is unmarked and suspect European quality as pieces ring like crystal.
