Description
Hi I don't know how Mum ended up with this Chinese urn but it was in her display cabinets. The urn stands 34 cm tall and is 20 cm across the handles. Mum always had this thing about Chinese porcelain and that sort of stuff so I'm not surprised she ended up with her Chinese urn. Anyway it was in the will that Mum and Dad should be buried together but Mum lasted a lot longer than Dad. We had dad's ashes in an old cigar box on the mantelpiece waiting for mums to join them and my daughter when she was little went in there and she took the lid off the box and she's in there playing with all the dust. Mum said to me "Where's Lisa" and I said "She's playing with Grandpa." Mum didn't believe me and had to come out and have a look. Those were the days before camera phones so we never got any pictures of that. Anyway they are together now and Mum never got around to using her Chinese urn. We were thinking of putting the cats ashes in there but the cat is not going to die in a hurry she's got a good life. Anyway mum's urn is looking for another mantlepiece to stand on as it's been standing on ours for a long time now. So if you're after a lovely looking urn or it could be something else but I don't think it is, hit the Buy Now and it will be yours. The Trademe courier can deliver to anywhere in New Zealand.
