This is an auction for a Royal Doulton blue and white plate.
The person depicted is CHARLES DICKENS. He is surrounded by characters from his novels.
COMBINE PURCHASES TO SAVE ON SHIPPING
This is one of a number of Royal Doulton seriesware items which I am offering for sale on Trade Me at present. If any one bidder purchases two or more of these items there will of course be a saving in shipping costs.
The D number is 2964. This plate was in production from 1908 until about 1937. There are three plates in this blue and white series of literary figures. The others in the series are Shakespeare and Robert Burns.
This plate is 25.5cms (10") in diameter.
It is in as new condition. There are of course no chips, cracks or repairs/restorations.
The cost of shipping is:
North Island - $8.95, or $11.95 for Rural Delivery
South Island - $13.95, or $16.95 for Rural Delivery
There is of course no charge for shipping if you collect this item from my shop in Palmerston North following the auction.
