Description
A beautiful Royal Doulton "Poppies" plate in the red colour way. Design number D3225.
Measures 8.5 inches or 21.5cm. The markings on the back indicate this plate was made in July 1915.
The plate is in very good condition with no chips or cracks and only minimal crackling to the glazing. It is very rare to find these plates without some crackling.
These plates looked stunning displayed against the native timber wood panelling in my previous Arts and Crafts era home but I have downsized and don't have room for all my treasures.
I will be listing more of these plates in the other colour ways.
