Warpaint Stud is a family-run horse stud based in Taupo. Our aim is simple. "We want to breed performance sporthorses that have 3 qualities. Firstly to have great temperaments and trainability. Secondly to have excellent conformation and be sound; and finally to be capable of undertaking any discipline".

We proudly offer the services of two proven 1/4 Clyde Stationbred piebald coloured sporthorses. Our stallions have all got excellent temperaments and their foals are stamped with great natures.

Amigo is an 14 yo 17hh piebald stallion offering temperament and bone to his foals. Amigo is a very popular and prepotent sire whose offspring are all personable, fast learners with kind temperaments. His offspring all have a great ability to jump. Stud Fee: $1000. ( Photo 1 Amigo 2,3,4,5 progeny )

Ruatoria Pache is a 17 yo 16.1hh Gisborne bred stallion with foals sold internationally in all disciplines. All of the progeny we have bred are very straight and good movers with natural jumping ability. Stud Fee: $750. ( Photo 6 Pache and progeny 7-9 )

We have some offspring for sale, and also sell in-foal mares. Progeny can be seen.

I have a 1yo black colt by Scout out of a TB mare and he's a cruizy, fun wee dude!Tanya kept me well-informed while my mare was in her care and was very pleasant to deal with. I've also started a TBx filly by Scout and she was a breeze, hacking out confidently within her first week under saddle. Last time I saw her she'd grown into a pretty, nice-natured young mare. So I can testify to the trainability of Scout babies! Cheers, Amy
