Really poor customer service. Unbelievable that I'd ask for the house clean to be done on a Friday, I get an email back to say my booking is for Monday and they had taken the money from my account a week before the actual clean. I finally get a booking in and the clean was cancelled on the day it was due leaving me in the lurch. When someone actually arrived to clean the house they left well before they were meant to. Communication needs improvement if you'd like happy customers.

Appalling - don't ever use. total lack of any clue about cleaning. mirrors smeared, doors to decks left wide open, couldn't speak english. I bought a grabone voucher for $69 + $30 for 3 hours and an oven clean. The door was just smeared - terrible. Tooth brush cup never touched, everything was terrible. Never again - to think this company is owned by Sam Morgan and his mates. I want a refund and a make good.

Used three times, first two times the cleaner did not turn up, third time they forced me to move to a time I did not want to do because they could not do when I specifically booked. Cleans have been generally poor and shorted than the time paid for. Not once have they apologized for the cleaners not turning up but instead just provided excuses. Terrible company.

— Person was 30 minutes late for their first appointment before I emailed Goodnest and enquired (no phone number to call them!) Apparently there was a 'problem with your booking system', this is a pretty big problem considering your whole business model is based on bookings — Goodnest overcharged, they did not use the discount code I used when I first enquired about their service through. —Cleaner did not stay for full 2 hours.

Tried them for the first time today, did not live up to their claims of professional home cleaning. Mats not shook but placed back dusty on 'clean' floor. Shower full of soap residue, toilet not cleaned behind the door, and floors not properly mopped. Very disappointed

Completely underwhelmed. Grabbed a grabone deal hoping it would be an ongoing relationship but the cleaner complained about other homeowners expectations and refused to push aside the couch on sliders or the bed to vacume under it as we have wooden floors...I mean seriously what is the point. Also didn't get the cobwebs and left the sink filthy. Webdite not flexible to change your frequency and customer service is below average.

I have used them many times since they had the $20 hourly rate. I have been rescheduled and rescheduled for the rescheduled date once again so many times, for reasons like "the cleaner had a car accident" while I saw her at the Wellington Cuba festival 2 hours after the phone call. The cleaner also damaged my vacuum cleaner and the company has been trying not to pay for it nor replace it despite claiming they have cleaner insurance coverage. Official complaint has been lodged

My wife is pregnant & I just wanted 2 hours of cleaning to tidyup the house, but this company didn't deliver. Customer service were unconstructive & unhelpful. I was willing to accept any minimal improvement, and wanted to pay for someone to assist us, but this service just can't be bothered. This service just gets between you & a cleaning contractor, I found it made it harder to get our very reasonable needs met. We have now hired a cleaner direct, which is cheaper & easier.

Cannot begin to describe how unhappy I am with this service. Our contract specifically stated that we were ending our lease. The cleaner (Andrea from tauranga) turned up and complained from the moment she stepped in that it was too much work. I left the house to do some jobs only to return to find her gone, refusing to do the clean as it was end of lease - which was specifically stated in the contract that she bid for! Never ever ever use this company. the definition of incompetence

Goodnest: Hi there, we're really sorry you had this experience. I've had a look and the reason was that the booking you made was for a regular home clean, not an end of tenancy clean (different team sizes, equipment, pricing). We do give an alert when booking that a regular home cleaner cannot do these cleans as they can't complete them on their own, due to training, and with eco products. Very unhappy. Have had fortnightly cleans for about 3 months now. Started out fine but has got to the point where the floors haven't even been mopped. Came home today to find bins still full, kitchen not wiped down properly and footprints still all over the floors. Now I'll have to spend my Saturday morning redoing it all myself...again! They say there is a guarantee, but in reality there isn't. Very disappointed.

Love the ease of this service. Love being able to book, pay and change online plus the speed with which my queries are handled. Then there's the wonderful clean. Makes my previous cleaners seem such a rip-off. Keep up the fantastic work.. I'm in for the long haul.

Never used a cleaner before, but after moving into a new rental I was desperate to get my oven cleaned & was finding it so difficult to find someone just to do that! I booked & paid online it was just so easy! Suffering badly from morning sickness forced me to get someone in to clean the whole house for me ready for our first inspection. The cleaner was on time and so wonderful, he got straight to work & did such a fantastic job! Will defenatly use Goodnest again!

Very happy with the service, highly recommended! My cleaner was EXCELLENT - she didn't stop for a break even when I offered, she just got stuck in and did a terrific job. The communication with the wesbite was efficient too... they were in touch with me shortly after I booked a clean to let me know what time the cleaner would come etc.

I had a clean by a Goodnest contractor which was very thorough and of a good standard. I do agree that the website options need to be easier to use. I ended up discussing my requirements with the cleaner that was booked.

The main problem with Goodnest is that they are middle-men who use contractors and take your money a week in advance, i.e. they enjoy interest on your money before you receive the service! I have found their cleaners unreliable and the standard cleaning options on their website inflexible. They are not aware when their cleaners don't turn up and rely on you to advise them. My advice is go with an owner-operator that actually cares and isn't just a ticket-clipper with a nice website.
