With a Master’s Degree of Health Education and Biology, I have developed a broad knowledge of effective exercise and nutrition principles.
I have experience working in NZ’s top gym. Working as Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor, specializing on core strength, weight lose and building overall functional strength. (means having strong healthy functional body ;)
I’ve successfully assisted clients of all ages and physical levels. I've helped people lose weight, tone their bodies to improve their fitness level. Motivated them to exercise regularly and develop healthy eating habits.

I started training with Petka as I had not set foot in a gym for years and was lacking in confidence with my knowledge of equipment and technique. After just a few short weeks my confidence has soared. Not only have I gained muscle and toned up, I feel happier and have so much more energy! My partner and I joined a gym with mixed results as we lacked motivation and skills as so many people do. So we decided to go with a personal trainer and that we are so glad we've found Petka. I am the "hard-gainer" type of guy, who can eat anything and stays skinny. So I joined a gym. After a while of trying on my own with minimal results I decided to get help and it was the best decision. Petka showed me my mistakes. My training intensity was too low and my diet wrong. With her help, supervision and motivation, I went from 54Kgs to 70Kgs lean muscle. I feel much better and more confident now, not to mention this change helped me in my personal and professional life as well.
