I can retro fit your current bike for $1725. The combo kit includes
- mid drive 750 watt torque sensing motor
- thumb throttle
- display with controls including pedal assist
- motor controller
- 52 volt 300watt/hour battery
- battery bag
- 1 Year Warranty.
- After your 1 Year Warranty, I’m happy to offer you
extended support.

I'll turn your bike bionic. You can supply your own bike or I'll help you select a bike and I'll make it electric.

I also offer various options other than the combo kit above.

The specifications will suit your requirements, from an endurance bike with +100kms range, that gets you to work and back in comfort, to a speed machine topping out at 40km/hr or more that'll leave you with a serious grin .

Bespoke Bionic Bikes are not your everyday eBike you buy from a shop. These units are tailored to your requirements and if needed I'll provide help in selecting parts before the build starts. My labour charge rate is $500 for the complete build. Typical all up cost is $1725 - $2825.

Bret converted my Kona Rove steel frame bike for me . It was a really good expererience and I am delighted with the outcome. Bret's communication was brilliant throughout the process and he kept me completely infoemed throughout the process. It was also a collaborative process rather than a "this is what you get experience". Bret asked my what I specifically wanted and delivered to that perfectly. Excellent service and a great bloke.

My e-conversion was slightly different as I have a Schwinn Adult Trike (due to vertigo issues). Bret took on the challenge. He is a very good listener and problem-solver. He took the time to answer our many questions and explain options. Just taken delivery of my e-trike and am very happy with the result. Many thanks!

I test rode 6 ebikes then noticed Bret's TradeMe info. After our first meeting and a ride on Brets e-bike I knew this was the conversion for me, plus, I get to keep my own Merida Crossway now with awesome power when reqd. Bret is a top guy, knows his stuff and importantly he delivers exactly what he said in our discussions. The bike looks excellent, is a pleasure to ride. Bret recently converted my mountain to a power-assist eBike. I couriered the bike all the way from Gisborne to Auckland and Bret collected it, did everything he said he was going to do, kept me updated with progress and then couriered it back. I recently test rode a bunch of different e bikes but none felt as good as my own bike. That’s when I contacted Bret. Bret was super easy to deal with. The communication each step of the way was excellent. The bike is a joy to ride - I love it! These bikes are custom made for every requirement. I needed endurance and power for a long ride into work each day. After discussing my needs with Bret, that's exactly what I got. My ebike is professionally put together and looks great. Power assisted cycling is the way of the future so it feels great to be part of it. In mid 2018 I bought a new bike and Bret converted it to an ebike. Very honest and reliable, and passionate about what he does. He explains everything clearly and has good follow up. I asked him to add better tyres to prevent punctures. You get a better spec bike for an equal or better price than buying from a bike shop. I now ride 15km each way to work and have saved $$$ in fuel and avoid rush hour traffic. Will pay for itself within a year I think. Try an ebike and you'll be hooked
