We offer our members loads of benefits including regular events such as forums, workshops and clubs, discounts from local suppliers, mentoring, a great magazine and the opportunity to meet like minded people with an interest in property.

We keep up to date with local, regional and national government initiatives and encourage our members to have their say on policy that effects them and through our link to the NZPIF we form a large lobbying group that works to enable change in key areas that matter to property investors.

I have found the Property Investors Association professional in all my dealings with them.The staff are friendly and helpful. I have always received the answers I was seeking. The local branch has kept me notified of all meetings as well as address changes post-earthquakes. I would attend more meetings but the long distances from my home in Sumner to the meetings prevents me doing so. I intend to continue my association with the organization while I have investment properties.Kind regards Joanne

I have used over the last 4yrs of being a member of CPIA include the monthly 'property investor' magazine, CPIA magazine, discounts from various companies, use of the books in the Cpia library, guest speakers, talking to other investors and the most important benefit of knowing that others have been in the same boat at some time and can help you not make similar mistakes that they may have made. I have been a landlord for 19yrs though have learnt more in the last 4. 15-136151-01-0313

As a long term member this organisation has been a valuable source of up to date property information and a great place to network with like minded investors. There is a library available to borrow books on property and a seperate sub group for women in property.

CPIA is a fantastic way to keep in tune with the local market. The membership has so many benefits such as discounts through local suppliers - joining was the best thing we did after buying the rentals :-)

I have enjoyed being a member of the CPIA for some 4 years now. I have learned a lot from the events I have attended and love the fact that I can bring my partner along using the "guest option" at no cost. Mem no. 15-135925-01-0313. Property investor mag is fantastic reading also. :-)

It's been a great experience belonging to the CPIA over the past 5 years; other investors are always happy to offer a listening ear or practical tips; there is plenty of help through meetings and workshops, and this is the best way to find out what's happening in the property investing world.

We have been members since we bought our first rental house in 2003. CPIA is great way to mix with others with similar interests. Any issue that we have had has been faced many times by other members and advice is readily offered from them. This has been even more valuable since the Christchurch earthquakes. It's a pity that many (most) property owners do not belong to an organisation like this, both for the reasons mentioned above and also for the strength gained with an united voice.

Although our family has been in the residential property area for over 40 years we know that there is always so much more to learn. With the CPIA we have become more professional from the shared knowledge and information with other property investors/managers and by attending seminars and forums, etc. It also means we are well represented by a National body (the NZPIF). And of course the financial benefits are great (for example credit checks can be done at a fraction of the real cost). #241

you should join even if you are only a wee bit interested in property, Free credit checkes from Veda, netting working & lots of reading from regular magazine all about any problems/solutions other members have encounted a must

The CPIA are a very valuable resource for property investors. They hold seminars, provide information and keep investors up to speed with things relevant to them. I have found CPIA particularly helpful at providing contacts of experts who are able to assist with niche areas or tricky issues.

Information and networking are the answers to success and the PIA has an abundance of them. There are the educative forums, talks and investors meetings; the personal interactions with other members and speakers, the superb property magazines; the library of property leaflets and forms; the recommended and subsidised online providers; and the New Zealand wide conferences. Current legal, banking, building and property investment information and contacts are available. What a great organisation!

When starting out as a landlord they were very helpful in giving advice and also copies of all the forms I would ever need. The subscription also gives you the NZPIF monthly magazine free. Recently we had to refinance the property to carry out repairs. Our own mortgage broker wasnt able to assist. We turned to the CPIA and they put us in touch with an ANZ broker. He was not only able to finance us but also at a reduced rate seeing we were members of CPIA. Excellent benefit from being a member.

We have been members of this organisation for about 12 years. Meeting like minded people and getting timely information have been invaluable to us. For any prospective landlord or property investor information is paramount to success and CPIA is a one stop shop. Everyone in the organisation is happy to share his or her experience and knowledge.
