We called on Harnett Renovations to build our retaining wall and we could not have been happier with the work that was done! James and Isaac are extremely skilled, reliable and trustworthy. They are experienced builders with excellent craftmanship! James had great communication from start to finish and the job was completed right on schedule. James and his team transformed our property into a modern, warm and dry family home. Always helpful and easy to deal with throughout the project. James completed some extensive repairs and renovations to our decks and also some internal work.
His workmanship and attention to detail is fantastic. I would have no hesitation recommending him to anyone.

James carried out an internal rebuild plus built a stand-alone double garage with loft. We are impressed with James’ expert workmanship, his precision, meticulousness, his can-do attitude, great communication, and tolerance with our many changes. He kept us informed along the way, liaised with Council and other trades involved. We are pleased with the end result, which is totally down to James’ expertise and attention to detail. James provided a great service from start to finish and was very fair with his pricing , I wasn't 100%on what I was really wanting and he took the time to visualize the job and consulted me throughout the project and was an awesome outcome . Both James and Issac worked very hard and were very respectful of the neighbors whilst doing the job . I would defiantly use James again for any future work .
James and Isaac completed a renovation on our lounge and entranceway which involved demo, new ceilings, windows, walls and exposed trusses. Throughout the Reno we found James very professional and very easy to communicate with. He kept us updated with exactly what was going on and notified us of any areas of concern. The work carried out has been excellent and we would definitely recommend his company to anyone and would have no hesitation using him again on a future job.
James was amazing. Both he and Isaac were pleasant and well mannered and conscious to minimalise any disruption to the household while rebuilding some decking around the house. They put up with my cheeky German shepherd. James didnt make assumptions about what I wanted and communicated well making recommendations where appropriate. He was very mindful of my budget and came well under. I have already recommended James to others. He was fantastic and my decking looks beautiful for the summer.
James built a 70 square meter deck for us, he was punctual and communicated clearly every step along the way. He even put up with all my changes and modifications I came up with throughout the job without any complaints. It was finished to a high standard and looks great! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend James for any future work.
I've worked with this builder on some high end renovation jobs as a sparky and found his work to be of exceptional quality. Everything is well organised on the job site, site safety is taken very seriously and the work site is left clean and tidy at the end of the day.
I recommend James to all my clients when they need a builder
James is a fantastic builder. It is truly a Marvel to watch an 8 foot high grant putting up Gib on a ceiling. Knock out 100m2 house in a day. Very reliable highly recommend.
