Nigel Maclaurin trading as Fluid Light was recommended by a colleague. I wholeheartedly recommend him. He was meticulous and totally understood what I wanted. Bringing my 1970s duplex semi townhouse into the 21st century. All problems solved full of ideas. Cleared up after the job to high standard. He is my go to electrician from now on.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Nigel replaced all our lights with Halcyon LEDs and all our switches and sockets with sleek modern PDL Iconic ones.
The whole house now feels like it has been made much more modern and stylish. Especially in the kitchen, where the amount of light and the look and feel of the fittings has made it feel like it’s a completely new kitchen.
Also, great guidance in terms of what to buy, real care and attention in the installation, and great aftercare too.

Nigel came around to identify a lighting fault at the house and provided the best service by any tradesman to date. He was quick to crack into the job, fully committed to resolving the issue and highly knowledgeable about his trade. Will undoubtedly be our go to electrician for all electrical needs going forward. Amazing electrician ! Quick response, pleasant to deal with and knowledgeable. The job was completed without any fuss and came in under budget. What more can you ask for ! We will be using him again without question !

Nigel was awesome to deal with because he took the time to talk me through what he thought would be involved over the phone, gave a very competitive price, and job finished to a high standard; he assessed the job thoroughly and was able to come up with a solution that didn't involve punching any holes in the wall - which means I don't need to sort out a plasterer! I've saved his details, cos I'll definitely be using him again! Legend!
Nigel is the BEST electrician I’ve ever used. I’ve had all sorts of complex problems in the wiring of my home due to the fact it is in two flats - Nigel has fixed everything in a timely and efficient way. The most recent has been the installation of a new board to replace the old 1960s one in the upstairs flat. As usual the work has been done quickly and to the highest standard. I live on the North Shore but to my knowledge Nigel works all over Auckland.
