All SM Alum Tanned leather cricket balls are as a result of intensive research by the SM technical team of professional's and have a proven record of the highest standards of performance. They conform to International quality standards, and the finest quality of English grade balls. They are hand stitched, finished with wax and then efficiently polished. The ball uses a specially formulated pre-shaped SM designed compressed cork inside and the natural stitching ensures excellent shape retention.

The 4 piece leather ball is hand made with a thick seam. It holds its shape extremely well due to its 7 alternate layers of finest quality Portugese cork and wool and 90+ stitches that conform to MCC regulations.
