This complete aerial silks setup includes everything you need to get started (safely!) with silks:

1 x high quality safety mat (1800 x 1400 x 200mm). Made in New Zealand 11 yards (10.5 metres) of low stretch interlock fabric in ‘Gunmetal’ (silver grey) 1 x heavy duty rigging plate (black. Made in USA) 1 x aerial-8 (black. Made in USA) 2 x autolock carabiners (black. Made in USA) 1 x swivel (black. Made in USA) PLUS 2 aerial silks books to teach you some tricks!

The gym mat was over $1000 new. The silks fabric and rigging were over $350 new. The books were $50.

The gym mat is made to the safety standard used in an NZ aerial silks studio. It was made to specification by Odyssey Sports/ Gym Mats (made in NZ). It is deep and firm and is constructed from 175mm solid open cell foam, laminated with 25mm bonded foam. The colour is Steel Grey. It has handles to make moving it easy.

It has some minor surface wear and scratches but is otherwise in excellent condition. Although this is fully spec'd for an adult, the silks and mat have only been used by one child at home.

The silks are in very good condition (no tears or rips etc). When rigged, the silks have an approx. length of 5 metres. The fabric and all the metal rigging were imported directly from the US. The silks are machine washable with a front-loading machine. The fabric is 110 inches wide and is made from 100% polyester tricot. It has a shiny finish which catches the light beautifully.

The extra length of the fabric enables you to wrap the fabric around your feet to perform more tricks, aids climbing etc.

The hardware enables you to safely rig your fabric and the swivel allows you to spin (and spin!) with ease. Great fun! :)
