The soft jaw is to be humane to the rodent & adhere to Trade Me Terms and Rules. They have a superior rubber coating with the bar being submerged in the coating (can be removed if necessary), not just a rubber sleeve.

Traps have a 10cm (4 inch) jaw spread. Springs have 7 coils & are not easily set like some other traps, therefore less possums escaping & wasting your time!! Our traps meet MAF requirements.

We use these traps & have been selling them for many years to Contractors, Life Stylers, and Hobby Trappers with great results. Catching Possums, Rabbits, Rats, Feral Cats and the odd Goat which we have let go. They really are, a great strong trap with excellent holding ability.

Stronger metal & construction, stronger springs, bigger rivets & a good secure chain, lock nuts on the tongue, traps are zinc coated. Longer bars so the bars don't fall out as found in other traps. There is D on the end of the chain that spins freely, so the possum can't twist & tie the chain up & pull out.
