WHAT IS IT?

• It’s a tool used by Athletes and encouraged by physiotherapists to reduce your injury recovery time. It assists in repairing new and old damaged tissue and can also target areas in recovery that foam rollers and lacrosse balls can’t reach.

WHAT DOES IT DO?

• By constricting blood flow for a short amount of time (2-3 mins) on the injured area it allows the athlete to complete range of motion (ROM) exercise with limited pain which allows greater ROM movements. When the band is removed blood cells flush old damaged scar tissue and fused muscle fibres, and helps remove inflammation and lactic acid.
