Märklin 6647 Control Unit & Transformer.
For Digital Loco's used on Analogue layouts. i.e. For use with M-Track or K-Track.
(I am not sure if you can use this 6647 with C-Track or not? Someone may be able to clarify?)
These put out less Amperage than the older blue controllers, because the older blue units are for analogue Loco's.
The digital loco's consume less current, and if you hook-up a blue controller to them, it could blow-up the green PCB = printed circuit board.
If you operate digital loco's on C-Track, then you'll need a different controller - not this one.
