This train set is a Chinese copy product of a big name brand heavy-haul toy train set – it includes a remote controlled engine, and train cars as pictured

The set is very detailed, including a good size oval track made up of 16 curves and 12 straights, a loading / discharging station with a side hopper and movable loading crane, a level crossing for vehicles and 5 minifigures

The set was sent from AliExpress; it was an incorrect order (something completely different was ordered) and it couldn’t be sent back due to expensive return post costs, so I had to keep it. It’s not something I really want for my collection, so here it is for sale at significantly lower cost than the similar big name brand, but with all the same features and excellent playability

The parts are a very close quality match to the big name brand, but on the whole, just don’t quite have the same excellent feel, though it is very good all the same. The equivalent big brand set retails for around $300, so I think this is priced just right, given it is not the same make, but is brand new and unopened. The set comes in sealed loose plastic bags (numbered for ease of assembly) and some parts like the track and electrics I’ve put into their own bags. I've split some bags to partially assemble the minifigures – these ones delivered from China came completely disassembled, i.e. arms from torsos and legs from hips, so I’ve put those together as they should be

There is a sheet of stickers and a very good instruction book that is just as easy to follow as it should be. All parts have been checked against the set inventory and are all present (except for a minifigure welders helmet, which wasn’t included)

One section of track had a single sleeper lug unfortunately broken off in the original transit, but it doesn’t affect the operation of the tracks at all and is hardly noticeable – see photos

The set will be delivered in 2 large ziploc bags, bubble wrapped/boxed, in time for Christmas (within NZ) - batteries included
