The monkey bar is height adjustable from 1.2m to 2.3m so the whole family can enjoy the fitness benefits. PLEASE NOTE: The Orangutan is load-rated to 625kgs and is tough enough for adults and big kids. The monkey bars and twirly-whirly bars are powder coated in the colour of your choice (blue, green or purple). The legs and swing frames of our products are powder-coated silver, creating our unique industrial look. Our quality Australian made and designed Funky Monkey Bars are all free standing – so there is no need to concrete them into the ground. Made from 2.5mm galvanised steel, they are tough enough to withstand lots of kids and last for generations. Funky Monkey Bars® is an Australian owned, family-run company founded in 2011 by New Zealand born Shane Roberts, along with his brother Marc Roberts. Colin Burdle joined Funky Monkey Bars® in 2014. His knowledge of steel fabrication expanded the design of Funky Monkey Bars to be height-adjustable and modular so that customers could add more play and fitness equipment to their existing frame. New frames were introduced and the concept continued to grow in popularity with greater family involvement.
