Habitat for Humanity is a not for profit organisation that aims to eliminate poor housing in New Zealand and worldwide. Working with partner families, a wide range of community groups, schools, individuals and corporate organisations Habitat builds and renovates homes for families who live in substandard houses. Last year we built 20 new homes for 20 Christchurch families in need of a modest but decent place to live.

Our TradeMe listings and our Christchurch ReStores (open 10.00-17.00 Weekdays and Saturday/Sunday 10.00-16.00) at 189 Waltham Road, Sydenham and 567 Wairakei Road, Burnside helps to fund our local housing programme.
