Artist/Manager of the NZ Art Guild

Sophia Elise is a self-taught artist living in Auckland who has exhibited extensively throughout NZ. She has been selected as a finalist in several NZ Art Awards, has her artwork in national and international art collections and also exhibited in London. In May she will be travelling to Italy to exhibit her artwork in Cassino. She is a founding member and manager of the NZ Art Guild - a nationwide organisation that provides promotion, support, opportunites and resources for NZ visual artists at all career stages. the NZ Art Guild won the David Award for most community minded business 2009 for it's contribution to artists and the wider community. Sophia is also on the Board of Trustees for Mairangi Art Centre, particpant of ART Generator network and does business mentoring. She beleives that "Life is the colour you paint it."
