Needless to say, moral duty prevails and Wayne quickly goes into action. Based on the novel by Glendon Swarthout and featuring first-rate performances by supporting cast members Bacall and Stewart. Beautifully produced, THE SHOOTIST garnered a place on the National Board of Review Award's 10 Best Films of the Year List. |
