Johnny Cash was one of the most imposing and influential figures in country music history. His distinctive voice which neither sounded Nashville or Rock 'n' Roll was to score him over 100 hit singles in the USA and made him into one of Country's biggest stars of since the 50s right up to the very day. Cash passed away in 2003 just four months after his wife and fellow songwriter June Carter died. This early recording of Johnny Cash shows his raw talent and earthy appeal.
