Synopsis - My-Hime: Volume 1 (2004) Before coming to the Fuka Academy, all Mai Tokiha wanted was to live an ordinary high school life, but that's the last thing she's going to get. It turns out that Mai is a HiME, one of twelve girls with super-natural powers that are gathered at this school to fight the Orphans, demons that dwell around the school. A secret organization has other plans for the HiME than just demon-busting and Mai and the other HiME will have to risk something precious to protect the ones they love.Synopsis - My-Hime: Volume 2 (2004) The burden of taking care of her little brother and the responsibility of being a HiME begin to take a
mental toll on Mai. But the HiME soon get some help from a new HiME that claims to be champion of
justice. Not all the HiME are using their power for good purposes as Mikoto gets involved with Nao
Yuuki who seeks revenge on men preying on young girls. During the annual Founders' Festival, one
of the HiME learns what the true cost of defeat is for the HiME.Synopsis - My-Hime: Volume 3 (2004) After all the trouble on campus, the students of Fuka Academy enjoy their summer break at the beach, but it's not all fun for everybody. Natsuki, Mai and Mikoto infiltrate an abandoned research facility to uncover some lost answers about the HiME. Some of the girls who either failed their finals, ditched classes or were just plain unlucky will have to attend a special make-up class: a bake-off contest hosted by Midori.

When class is back in session, trouble starts up again as a mysterious assailant is attacking girls on campus and Sister Yukariko is the main suspect.Synopsis - My-Hime: Volume 4 (2004) Fuka Academy is abuzz with romance as the Tamayura Festival approaches and even Mai has a date for the festival with Reito. But the mood is ruined when the bridge in the bay suddenly explodes. The next day, armed soldiers of the mysterious Searrs Foundation take over the school looking for the HiME. The entire school is held hostage as Alyssa's Child, Artemis, orbits above threatening to destroy Fuka Academy and kill all the students. All the HiME will have to team up if they're going to rescue everyone and defeat Alyssa and Miyu, an android built specially to neutralize HiME?Synopsis - My-Hime: Volume 5 (2004) The true purpose of the HiME is finally revealed. They must fight to defeat each other's Child until only one HiME is left standing - or else the world will be destroyed. The HiME make a pact among themselves to not attack each other, but forces in the shadows manipulate them and the HiME battles soon begin. Despite all of her efforts to stop the fighting, Mai will lose the person who she holds most dear and is fighting to protect.Synopsis - My-Hime: Volume 6 (2004) Hidden truths and forbidden desires are revealed as the Obsidian Prince finally awakens. As the HiME begin their final dance, a distraught Natsuki must face a wrathful Nao without the aid of her Child, Duran. However in the face of defeat, Natsuki will be rescued by Shizuru, who comes to reveal a deep secret of her own.
