In 1931 she moved into his flat in Munich despite protests from her modest, Protestant father. Living away from the political spotlight Braun's life was one of leisure, love and anguish.In 1935 she attempted suicide. Hitler bought her a house in the suburbs and later incorporated her into his will. Ranking herself as Hitler's most ardent supporter, she moved into his bunker in 1945 when the Russians reached Berlin.The pair were finally married two days before they both followed through with a joint suicide pact. Combining recent historical analyses, private testimonies and a visual montage of stills and film footage from Braun's and Hoffman's largely unexploited archive, the documentary provides a fascinating historical perspective of a notoriously evil mastermind.In Love with Adolf Hitler is a fresh and intimate portrait of on one of last century's most scrutinised autocrats.
