| An artist working in a remote army post falls in love with an Indian chiefs daughter but when Butler, a vengeful settler, manages to get the army and the Indian braves at each others throats the artists troubles really begin. Butler is a fanatic, who is seeking to instigate an Indian war in order to gain control of the whole Mohawk valley. Mohawk Chief Kowanen holds his tribe in check but the impatient warrior Rokhawah, goads tribe members into raiding the fort to stealing guns. Butler kills Kowanens son, Keoga and this prompts the chief into declaring war against the white men. |
