The world's biggest gun shop has given birth to a little brother in Auckland.
Gun City of Christchurch has opened a warehouse-style operation at 62 Carr Road, Mt Roskill.
We have over 5000 guns in stock in Christchurch and we've moved a selection of all the "hotties" to Carr Road just for you.
If you buy something from the Christchurch shop which is not currently in stock here it can be collected here to save you the hassle of a police order form as we will be able to sight your licence on pick up.
In most cases if you are happy to wait 7-10 days, delivery will be free. For overnight or 2-3 day service the postage will be the same as having it delivered it to your home. This price is usually advertised on each item on the website.
We are open for collection Monday - Friday 9am -5pm.
Weekends and public holidays are very busy so please call us first to ensure pick up will be OK.
If it becomes necessary, irrespective of reason, to return goods to Gun City, the customer shall bear the cost.
If goods have been damaged in transit, the customer should acknowledge receipt of “damaged goods”. They should contact Gun City as soon as possible so a claim can be lodged.
Goods must be inspected within 24 hours of delivery. Claims must be made within 48 hours of delivery and all packaging must be kept to substantiate the claim.
If after unpacking, the goods are found to be faulty or incomplete, the customer must contact Gun City to determine whether they should be returned.
No warranties shall apply to goods sold “AS IS WHERE IS”.
We do not offer refunds – please choose your products carefully.
Our staff will test all returned products to determine the nature of the defect. If an item is deemed to have been in good working order, the item will be returned to the customer. A fee of $30 will be charged for testing, handling, and return shipping. This fee then needs to be paid before your goods will be returned.
The goods are warranted against faulty workmanship or materials for 3 to 12 months from the date of purchase and Gun City will at its discretion, repair or replace faulty items.
This warranty shall not be valid if, having detected a fault, the user continues to operate the item or dismantles the item.
This warranty does not apply to any part of the goods which has been subject to misuse, neglect, alteration, incorrect operation, accident, or damage caused by flood, fire or acts of nature.
Gun City’s liability under this warranty is limited to repairing or replacing a part without charge. Gun City’s liability is confined to the buyer only and the buyer’s rights are not assignable.
Manufacturers take up to 30 days to satisfy warranty claims. The decision rests entirely with the manufacturer, we must wait for their response. Please be patient.
No warranty is expressed or implied as to the quality or fitness of the products for any particular purpose.
Gun City Ltd will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury to the purchaser or to any other person or to the property arising out of the use or possession of the item.
The warranty is void if there is evidence of previous repair by another repair centre other than Gun City approved repairers.
The warranty is void if there is no record of purchase from Gun City. We will do our best to look for your sales information, but ultimately it is your responsibility to retain your sales receipt.
Risk of Loss
All items purchased from Gun City are shipped in accordance to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for items purchased pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.
We cannot confirm the price of an item until you order. Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items we advertise may be mispriced.
If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
Payment must be made within 5 days of purchasing goods unless payment by layby or some other prior arrangement has been made.
Payment can be made by direct credit, VISA or Mastercard, cash and EFTPOS. We do not accept payment for Trade Me purchases by way of Amex, Diners or CRT cards.
Please ensure you include the auction number reference when making payment.
Emails, questions and queries will be answered between Monday – Friday 9.00 am to 5.30pm.
If you do not receive a response within 2 working days please check your junk box, spam and popup filters before contacting us.
All goods should be shipped within 2 days of confirmation that payment has been received.
ASB is the only bank that informs us immediately of your payment. All other banks can take up to four days to show in our account. You can deposit the funds directly into our account at any ASB bank.
You will not receive an email message advising that your goods have been shipped.
Delays can occur during peak times such as Christmas, duck season, Fathers Day and long weekends – please be patient. NOTE: We cannot deliver gas and ammo etc to postal boxes.
